HOW TO CONVERT FROM MICROSOFT OFFICE TRIAL VERSION 2007

HELLO.  NEED HELP, PLEASE.

MY TRIAL 2007 OFFICE VERSION HAS EXPIRED AND I HAVE ORDERED MICROSOFT WORD 2000 WHICH I SHOULD GET SOON.  WILL THIS CONVERT MY FILES IN 2007 OR IS THERE SOMETHING I NEED TO DO?

i cannot copy any of my files in 2007 right now and am wondering if they are going to convert?
